TERMS OF YOUR BOOKING
INTRODUCTION
The named person who makes the booking must be one of the guests who stays. He or she must be over 18 years old. This person is responsible for making sure that the terms of booking are adhered to.
Bookings are not transferable to any other person.
Each pitch has a maximum occupancy number of 6 people (of which a maximum of 4 can be adults), which you must stick to.
Any booking of three or more people of the same sex will need the owners’ agreement before a booking is made (unless they are members of the same family, but from different generations).
We reserve the right to refuse a booking, but of course treat everyone equally and fairly.
If the customer does not arrive on the booked date of arrival, without prior notice, then we reserve the right to cancel the booking after 9am on the following day.
No refunds are given where customers decide to leave the Site before the end of their booking.
The customer agrees that they and all members of their party as well as any visitors will abide by the Site Rules, failure to do so may result in the offending person or the entire party being required to leave the site. Should this occur no refund of fees paid will be made.
All pitches are let strictly for holiday use and no ‘right to remain’ exist for the guest or anyone in the party.
We strongly recommend that you have holiday insurance. Your insurance should cover all risks including cancellation, accident, breakdown, loss or damage to personal property.
Neither Severn Valley Touring nor the owners shall be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage suffered by you or members of you party.
WEBSITE ACCURACY
Whilst every care is taken to ensure that the details in this website are correct at time of being published, we cannot accept responsibility for errors contained therein or results thereof. We are not responsible to you for unforeseen events or matters over which we have no control.
ONLINE BOOKING
Please check all personal details at the time of booking. We cannot take responsibility for booking or personal detail errors. All address and contact information must be correct at the time of booking for a successful payment to be processed. In the event of an unsuccessful payment we reserve the right to cancel your holiday if payment is not received within 7 working days.
All communications are sent via an automatic email server and rely on a valid email address being supplied. We cannot take responsibility for loss of communication e.g. booking confirmation emails etc. If contact information is incorrect. We will make every effort to supply you with the relevant booking confirmations and receipts.
The easiest way to pay for your holiday is online, through our secure payment system provided by WorldPay. If you pay by credit card, your card provider may charge you a fee, but there is no fee for paying by debit card.
COMMUNICATING WITH YOU
We carry out most communication with you by email. We tend to phone only in emergency or if we can’t get you by email. We’ll keep your details on record. We promise never to pass information on to other companies.
HOW TO PAY
All payments need to be made in pounds sterling.
At the time of booking you can either:
Pay in full.
Or, pay a 20% deposit which is non-refundable. The balance must be paid 21 days before arrival. Failure to pay the full balance by the due date may be treated as a cancellation. If a booking is made less than 21 days before arrival, full payment will be required at time of booking.
The easiest way to pay for your holiday is online, through our secure payment system provided by WorldPay. If you pay by credit card, your card provider may charge you a fee, but there is no fee for paying by debit card.
We will notify receipt of all payments, by email. It is also possible to pay by cheque and BACS, please enquire.
STANDARDS
We take pride in our site, and maintain facilities to a high standard, however sometimes things do break down or malfunction. Please let us know straight away, by phone, text or email if something isn’t working, and we will make every effort to sort it out straight away.
CANCELLATIONS
If you have to cancel, notification must be received in writing by email/post at least 7 days prior to your arrival date. Holiday cancellation insurance is the responsibility of the customer. No refunds are given.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
We request that you arrive at or after 1:00pm (touring), 3:00pm (glamping) on the first day of your stay, and depart by 11:00am on the last day.
CAR CHARGING
Electric car charging is not included in the pitch fee, please speak to the Site owners to enquire about car charging.
VISITORS
Visitors must be notified to us in advance. Visiting family and friends are charged at a rate of £2.50 per adult and £1.50 per child.
DOGS
We regret that due to the proximity to farm land and farm animals no dogs are allowed on site, unless they are guide dogs for the blind.
SMOKING
No smoking is allowed in or around the toilet/shower block and please do not leave any smoking litter on the site.
SAFETY AND SECURITY DURING YOUR STAY
The customer confirms that all vehicles and other items of equipment brought on to the site are maintained to proper safety standards and that the customer holds appropriate insurance including third party cover.
Please have fun, but also be aware of the risks and supervise and advise children accordingly. We cannot take responsibility for injury however caused.
